Our Story
Rick And Morty® Shoes was founded in 2016 by husband and wife team James and Samantha Y. They had recently discovered the Rick and Morty animated series on Adult Swim and immediately became obsessed with its outrageous characters, adventures, and humor.
As huge pop culture fans and sneakerheads themselves, James and Samantha were disappointed by the lack of creative Rick and Morty shoes available at the time. The selection from major retailers was very limited, featuring mostly basic printed T-shirts and hoodies. They knew there had to be a demand for more unique Rick and Morty footwear and apparel.
Armed with boundless passion and creativity, James and Samantha decided to launch their own online store focused exclusively on imaginative and bold Rick and Morty products. Starting from their home, they researched suppliers, secured licensing deals, and poured endless hours into designing concepts for their initial line of Rick and Morty shoes.
The response was overwhelming. Their custom Vindicators and Pickle Rick themed sneakers were a massive hit right out of the gate. Positive feedback and demand from customers fueled their motivation to keep expanding the store’s inventory.
Over the next few years, James and Samantha continued to grow Rick And Morty® Shoes into one of the top destinations for specialty Rick and Morty merchandise. They forged strong relationships with licensing partners to create exclusive apparel and rolled out multiple new shoe designs annually.
Today, the company has a full staff and warehouse to handle worldwide orders. But James and Samantha remain hands-on owners, still obsessing over every new Rick and Morty product they offer to ensure it meets their high standards. Their ultimate goal is to make fans’ wildest Rick and Morty gear dreams come true.
Our Products
The core of our business is our line of imaginative Rick and Morty themed shoes. We currently offer around 15-20 unique shoe styles at a time, with new designs constantly in development.
Each shoe is handcrafted to properly capture the look and personality of specific characters/themes from the show. Our designers go through multiple concepts and iterations for each new release to get every detail just right.

Our Licensing Partners
In order to produce authentic Rick and Morty products, we have partnered with the major license holders for the brand. These include:
- Adult Swim – The television network that airs Rick and Morty. They hold the core television rights and approve all products.
- Cartoon Network – Owner of Adult Swim and the global Rick and Morty brand. We work with their consumer products team on merchandise plans.
- Ripple Junction – The master apparel licensee for Rick and Morty. We collaborate with them on our apparel lines.
- Bioworld – The headwear, accessories, and bags licensee. We partner with them for hats, wallets, backpacks, and more.
- Zemeckis – The footwear license holder. We work closely with them to create our specialty Rick and Morty shoes.
